MAMARONECK, N.Y. – The Walgreens at Boston Post Road and Hommocks Road will be holding a grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony for the new store.
The ceremony will be held on Wednesday, May 28 at 1 p.m. at 1333 Boston Post Road. Mamaroneck Town Supervisor Nancy Seligson and Councilwoman Jaine Elkind Eney will tour the new store with Walgreens employees.
Customers will be provided free samples of products.
The new 8,300-square-foot store will introduce the company’s “well experience,” intended to offer products and services for overall health and well-being. The new pharmacy will offer consultations with pharmacists and an Express RX self-serve kiosk, which will allow for quick pick-up and payment of prescriptions.
The store also features Web Pickup, which allows customers to shop online and pick up their order at the store using the new Web Pickup feature.
