Heavy Fog Expected to Continue in Mamaroneck

MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- Residents on their morning commute had low visibility due to a heavy dose of fog, which is expected to continue Monday night into Tuesday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.

The fog had largely cleared up by Monday afternoon, which will be cloudy with a high near 57 degrees. The low Monday night will be 50 degrees, with rain likely and widespread fog expected after 9 p.m.

The National Weather Service reports the fog will continue through 2 p.m. Tuesday, with showers mainly before 1 p.m. Rainfall amounts are expected to be between a 10th and a quarter of an inch. Tuesday's high is predicted to be 60 degrees, with a low of around 42 degrees.

There is a chance of rain through Thursday afternoon and temperatures are expected to drop as the week goes on. The low temperatures for Wednesday through Saturday are expected to be 37, 34, 31 and 28 degrees.
