I-95 Lanes Reopen In Mamaroneck After Truck Fire Leads To Closure

MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- A fully involved landscape truck fire resulted in the closure of all southbound lanes on a stretch of I-95 Friday afternoon.

The lanes reopened at around 2:45 p.m. after the fire broke out at 1:30 p.m. between Mamaroneck Avenue (Exit 18B) and Fenimore Road (18A) in Mamaroneck.

Firefighters used foam operations to control the fire.

Delays stretched back through Port Chester into Fairfield County. Heavy delays remain.
