Larchmont Home Broken Into, $1,900 in Property Stolen

LARCHMONT, N.Y. -- A Larchmont woman reported March 16 that her Jochum Avenune home was burglarized and more than $1,900 worth of property was taken sometime in the two days prior.

The following incidents were also reported to the Larchmont Police Department between March 10 and March 17.

Vehicle Impound: A vehicle parked on Palmer Avenue March 14 was towed and impounded because it had a suspended registration.

Vehicle and Traffic Law Arrest: Larchmont Police arrested a Somers man March 15 and charged him with operating with a suspended registration after spotting him driving on Nassau Road. The car was impounded and the driver was released on his own recognizance bail.

The Larchmont Police Department also responded to 13 burglar alarms, three car accidents, four aided cases and 26 other calls for service.
