Larchmont Home Broken Into, Safe Raided

LARCHMONT, N.Y. – A Larchmont resident reported that someone broke into her Ocean Avenue home during the overnight hours of Nov. 30 and stole $1,100 in property.

The following incidents were also reported in the Larchmont Police Blotter from Nov. 26 to Dec. 3.

Larceny: A Concord Avenue resident reported on Nov. 27 that a bicycle, valued at $100, was removed from the garage of his residence.

Criminal Mischief: A representative of an electrical company reported on Nov. 28 that sometime during the previous two days someone made graffiti on a company vehicle while it was parked on North Avenue.

Larceny: A Sherwood Drive resident reported on Nov. 29 that someone removed valuables from her safe, which was last seen intact during the summer months. 

Identity Theft: A Chestnut Avenue resident reported on Dec. 2 that she received several credit cards. The accounts were fraudulently opened using her information.

Criminal Mischief: The owner of a Larchmont Avenue restaurant reported on Dec. 2 that she discovered graffiti on the exterior of the building.

Penal Law Arrest: A Town of Mamaroneck woman was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana after she was observed operating her vehicle on Larchmont Avenue and committing a traffic infraction. She was released on the issuance of an appearance ticket.
