LARCHMONT, N.Y. -- A 10-year-old boy reported that an adult male approached and attempted to lure him into a car Sept. 22 around 3:15 p.m. while walking home from school on Boston Post Road near Bonnet Ave, according to the Larchmont Police Department.
The boy was unharmed. He reportedly refused the offer from the suspect, described only as a white male. After the youth refused, he walked home and notified his parents, while the suspect reportedly continued walking on Boston Post Road and may have gone onto Chatsworth Avenue.
An investigation is underway and the Mamaroneck School District was notified of the incident. They have asked anyone in the area of Boston Post Road near Bonnet Avenue at the time of the reported incident to call the Larchmont Police Department Detective Division at 914-834-1000.
