"It’ll be a good and busy season for nature exploration, and Sheldrake is ready to introduce and reintroduce the wonders of nature in spring to the world," representatives said.
Adults will have the opportunity to participate in Vernal Pools and Spring on Tuesday, April 1, at Sheldrake River Trail, "where they will listen to wood frogs and spring peepers as the animals announce that spring has come," representatives said.
The nonprofit organization is gearing up for children's programs with the Young Explorers program running in the spring and summer and the Spring Break Nature Camp from April 14-18.
Sheldrake will also host an Earth Day celebration on Wednesday, April 26. Other upcoming programs include Sheldrake's fundraising gala on June 12, the June Mini-Camp from June 2-27 and Sheldrake’s Summer Nature Camp starting June 30.
