MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- There will be a valve repair Tuesday evening causing interruptions in water service near the intersection of Mamaroneck Avenue and Old White Plains Road. This is related to the repair at Waverly and Mamaroneck avenues.
The water shut down will begin at approximately 6 p.m. and will affect Mamaroneck Avenue from New Street to Waverly Avenue. Affected residents will be notified.
The Avalon has already been alerted to expect the water service shut down. The left lane on the southbound side of Mamaroneck Avenue will be closed in this area. There will be a flagman for traffic control.
