MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- Six Mamaroneck firefighters were honored for saving an unconscious woman from a blaze at 538 Jefferson Avenue in August, according to LoHud.com .

Ex-Captain Felix Hughes Jr., Ex-Captain Michael Yannuzzi, Lt. Thomas Siemson, Chief Robert Pecchia, Asst. Chief Craig Casterella and Ex-Captain Keith McGlinchey were all honored with the Life Saving award at the village of Mamaroneck annual inspection on Oct. 2, LoHud.com reported.

Firefighters were told that all of the residents had gotten out of the building when they arrived on the scene.  While battling the blaze in the attic, Yannuzzi discovered the body of a non-responsive woman lying on the floor, according to LoHud.com.
