MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- Three suspects stole hair care products worth $2,000 from the CVS Pharmacy in the Ferndale Shopping Center Aug. 23, said Town of Mamaroneck Lieutenent Robert Koziak.
The suspects, described as black males between 18 and 23 years old, fled the store with the assorted products in a basket and left in a vehicle. The store manager reported the fourth-degree grand larceny at 7:25 p.m.
The following items were also reported in the Town of Mamaroneck Police blotter between Aug. 20 and Aug. 30:
Petit Larceny: Less than one week later on Aug. 29, cosmetic products worth $500 were stolen from another CVS Pharmacy on 2444 Boston Post Road. An employee reported a black female put the items in a bag and left without paying.
Aggravated Harassment: A Murray Avenue resident reported Aug. 28 that she had received two threatening phone calls. The Mamaroneck resident reported the second-degree aggravated harassment at police headquarters in the Town Center.
Identity Theft: Police received two reports Aug. 19 of second - degree identity theft, which they believe are related. Three Mamaroneck residents who live in the same Rockland Avenue home reported that Capitol One Bank informed them someone had tried to open a line of credit in each of their names.
Petit Larceny: A Mamaroneck resident came home to find $100 missing from their Washington Square apartment Aug. 21.
