MAMARONECK, N.Y. - A village woman reported May 24 that someone broke into her 2012 Kia vehicle while it was parked overnight on Fenimore Road and stole a GPS unit and an iPad, worth a combined $1,000, according to a police report.
The following incidents were also reported to the Village of Mamaroneck Police Department between May 24 and May 30:
Fight in Progress : A New Rochelle man, 20, was charged May 30 with second-degree harassment and third-degree and fourth-degree criminal mischief for pushing a female co-worker and destroying property. The dispute began at about 5:30 p.m. on the 1200 block of W. Boston Post Road.
Larceny : Someone stole a victim's iPhone, worth about $600, while at Columbus Park May 29 at 7:48 p.m.
Criminal Mischief : Someone damaged the side-view mirror on a 2006 Volkswagon parked on Old Boston Post Road May 28 at 2:09 p.m.
Arrest : A village woman, 44, was charged with disorderly conduct for yelling obscenities in public. She was also issued a village code summons for holding an open container of alcohol.
DWI Charge : A Rye woman, 55, was charged May 25 at 11:30 a.m. with DWI while driving her 2009 Volvo on Mamaroneck Avenue. Police stopped her after a traffic stop for a traffic infraction.
Criminal Mischief : The owner of a 2007 Toyota reported May 25 that a teenage boy threw an object at his car, causing damage. Police notified the teen's family, which agreed to pay for the damages.
