Mamaroneck Resident's Shed Raided

MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- A Mamaroneck resident reported Jan. 29 that an unknown suspect stole a snow blower and two leaf throwers, worth $600, from a locked shed on his property sometime between Jan. 28 and Jan. 29. The following incidents were also reported in the Village of Mamaroneck Police Department blotter from Jan. 25 to Feb. 1. Larceny : A Mamaroneck resident reported Jan. 30 that an unknown suspect stole a GPS unit from his vehicle, which was parked and unoccupied in his Guion Drive driveway. Arrest : A town man, 23, was arrested Jan. 30 and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana after police stopped him for a traffic infraction on Van Ranst Place. Criminal Mischief : A Mamaroneck resident reported Jan. 29 that someone hit his 2011 Chrysler with eggs while parked and unoccupied on the street. Forgery : A Los Angeles, Calif. woman, 44, was charged Jan. 27 with second-degree criminal impersonation and criminal possession of a forged instrument. She tried to withdraw money from an account with a forged ID. She was still on the scene when police arrived.
