MAMARONECK, N.Y.-- Night construction on Boston Post Road in Mamaroneck will resume Monday from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
The construction will take place at the intersection of Boston Post Road and Barry Avenue. It is part of a drainage improvement project.
The project is currently behind schedule due to significant and substantial rock deposits that need to be drilled and split to make way for the drainage pipe, according to Village Manager Richard Slingerland.
The construction will continue overnight from Monday through Friday, Aug. 23. If the project is not completed, work may continue on Saturday night, Aug. 24.
While Boston Post Road will be open to traffic during construction, the village still recommends avoiding the intersection whenever possible due to lane closures.
