Mamaroneck Students' Lockers Broken Into

MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- Two Mamaroneck High School students reported someone broke into their lockers and stole their property. One student reported on Nov. 9 that their iPod Touch, worth $150, and approximately $110 were taken from an unlocked locker. Another student reported on Nov. 4 that their headphones and iPod, worth a total of about $300, were taken from their locker.

The following incidents were also reported in the Village of Mamaroneck Police blotter from Nov. 4 to Nov. 9.

Larceny : A village resident, 50, reported on Nov. 5 that jewelry worth $5,000 and clothing were missing from her Delancey Avenue home. The matter is under investigation.

Criminal Mischief : Three cars parked on the 1500 Block of Halstead Avenue Nov. 9 were scratched by a sharp object.

Property Stolen : A Constable Drive resident reported copper gutters were removed from the home sometime between Nov. 3 at 2 p.m. and Nov. 8 at 9 a.m. The copper gutters are worth approximately $1,000.

Accident Bicycle : A 2003 Honda exiting a parking lot on Richbell Road and W. Boston Post Road Nov. 7 hit a seven-year-old riding a bike. The child's father, a town resident, was not injured and refused medical attention.

Larceny : A wallet holding $10 and a vehicle radio worth about $100 were reported stolen from a 1994 Honda, which was parked and unoccupied on Washington Street Nov. 6.
