MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- Parents picking up their kids from school Thursday may see more traffic than usual due to a main break causing road closures in the vicinity of Weaver Street.
The Department of Transportation alerted the Mamaroenck School District Thursday afternoon to a water main break. It has caused road closures from Sackett Drive to Murray Avenue, which has affected traffic on Weaver Street.
As a result, delays are expected. This could also force buses to be re-routed around Murray Avenue School, the district said in a statement.
