Mamaroneck Woman's E-mail Hacked

MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- A Town of Mamaroneck woman told police someone hacked into her Yahoo e-mail account and sent messages to friends and family asking for money from Nov. 28 to Nov. 29. The unknown person wrote in the e-mails that the victim needed money immediately, but no money was exchanged, said Lt. Robert Koziak of the Town of Mamaroneck Police Department.

The following incidents were also reported in the Town of Mamaroneck Police blotter.

Criminal Mischief: A Brooklyn resident, 33, visiting family in Larchmont Nov. 30 found two long scratches on his car left sometime between 10 a.m. and 10:10 a.m. The scratches were made on the driver's side of the car from the back door to the front door.

Aggravated DWI: A Larchmont resident, 41, was charged with DWI following a minor car accident on Boston Post Road Dec. 3 at 1 a.m. No injuries were reported.

Harassment: A former employee of the Lexus dealership on 1435 Boston Post Rd. is  pressing charges against his former manager for second degree harassment stemming from an alleged altercation earlier this year.
