Mamaroneck Women Report Home Burglary, Threatening Letter

MAMARONECK, N.Y. — A town woman, 52, reported March 6 that someone entered her Dillon Road home overnight and stole her wallet, worth $10, which contained $350 cash, her driver's license and Chase credit card. There were no signs of forced entry, said Town of Mamaroneck police Lt. Robert Koziak.The following incidents were also reported to the Town of Mamaroneck Police Department. Petit Larceny : A town man, 51, reported someone made an unauthorized purchase of four concert tickets worth $743.82 sometime between Oct. 4 and March 7. Identity Theft : A town resident, 55, reported someone made $4,000 in unauthorized withdrawals from a Citibank account. Harassment : A town woman, 56, received a threatening letter in the mail March 4. The content of the letter was not disclosed, and the sender is unknown. Identity Theft : A town woman, 35, reported fraudulent activity on her American Express credit card between March 1 and March 3. She reported someone made two unauthorized charges, but the amount was not disclosed.
