MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- Five village kids between 16 and 17 years old were arrested and charged with trespassing on Palmer Terrace Sept. 22. One of the three 17-year-olds was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana, and was transported to police headquarters. One of two 16-year-olds was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.
The following items were also reported in the Village of Mamaroneck Police blotter.
Larceny : An unknown suspect took a video surveillance camera worth about $50 from the hallway of a location on the 100 block of Mamaroneck Avenue Sept. 22. The perp, described as a hispanic male wearing a black backpack with white trim, fled north-bound on Mamaroneck Avenue. Police found a man matching the description in an MTA tunnel, but it wasn't him.
Accident Hit and Run : A village woman, 24, was issued a summons for leaving the scene of an accident after hitting a parked and unoccupied car on Mamaroneck Avenue Sept. 22.
Suspicious Incident : A N. James Street resident filed a complaint Sept. 20 that an unknown person acting as a FEMA representative took personal information. It is believed the person does not work for FEMA. No losses have been reported.
