As a ninth-grader at Rye Neck High School, Liebmann has a 4.0 grade-point average and is a member of the school band. Liebmann is a valuable figure in her local Jewish community where she spends much of her time volunteering.

Not only is she a madricha at Bet Am Shalom Hebrew School, she is also an active member of J-Teen Leadership and participates in countless Tikkun Olam projects.

Liebmann will receive an impressive award certificate designed by world renown artist, Mordecai Rosenstein. Along with the other Honor Society inductees, Allie has the opportunity to compete for substantial annual merit-based scholarships to attend the American Hebrew Academy. Students nominated and accepted into the American Hebrew Academy Honor Society are not required to attend the Academy.

"To be named a member of the American Hebrew Academy Honor Society is a great achievement," said Mark Spielman, director of the honor society. "We look forward to meeting each of the honorees and following their successes as they make great contributions to our society."

Academy Executive Director Glenn Drew also commented on Liebmann's appointment to the society.

"The Academy is an exceptional institution with an outstanding faculty and student body. Identifying stellar students follows our mission of mentoring the Jewish leaders of tomorrow."
