LARCHMONT, N.Y. - Instead of putting money into the collection box at St. Augustine's Church earlier this month, 43-year-old Gerald Marray, of New Rochelle was seen taking it out by Larchmont police, who charged him with petit larceny and possession of burglar tools.
He was arraigned and is being held at the Westchester County Jail. Bail has been set at $200.
Also on the blotter:A Village of Mamaroneck man was arrested during the early morning hours of Sept. 9 after committing a traffic infraction on Boston Post Road. Daniel Gutierrez, 21, was charged with DWI and released on $200 bail.Larchmont Police officers also responded to 18 burglar alarms, five motor vehicle accidents, five aided cases and 87 other calls for service.
