WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- The Missing Vulnerable Adult Alert that included Westchester County for a 75-year-old man last seen in Woodmere in Nassau County at 2:50 p.m. on Monday has been canceled. No further information was immediately available.

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Missing Vulnerable Adult Alert that includes Westchester County has been issued for a 75-year-old man last seen in Woodmere in Nassau County at 2:50 p.m. on Monday.

Claude Mondesir is a 75-year-old black male with dementia and may be in need of medical attention. He was last seen wearing beige pants, a striped beige shirt, blue baseball hat, white sneakers and a gold chain.

Mondesir may be using public transportation and may attempt to travel to a casino. He speaks English and Creole. 

Anyone with information should call (516) 573-7347 or 911.

The alert includes Putnam, Rockland as well as New York City and Long Island.
