“We are searching for that perfect holiday tree that will be the centerpiece of downtown Peekskill’s holiday celebrations," said Bill Powers, Executive Director of the Peekskill Business Improvement District. "We are hoping that one of Peekskill’s residents will step forward and present us with a tree for everyone to enjoy."

The donated tree will serve as the official tree for the "Peekskill Makes Me Merry" celebrations. It should be a full pine or spruce, symmetrical in shape and around 15 feet tall.

Residents interested in donating a tree should contact Powers at peekskillbid1@gmail.com or (914) 737-2780 with name, address and contact information.

Owners must sign a waver. Once selected, representatives will arrange for the tree to be cut down and transported for placement near the gazebo free of charge.
