Perp Steals All Four Tires, Leaves Nuts and Bolts

MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- A Burton Road resident parked his car in the Larchmont Acres parking lot Sept. 3 and found all four tires missing the next day around 7:30 p.m. when he reported the fourth-degree grand larceny, according to Lt Robert Koziak of the Town of Mamaroneck Police Department.

The thief left the lug nuts, as well as the pliers he used to remove them on the ground near where the car was parked.

The following items were reported in the Town of Mamaroneck Police Blotter between Aug. 19 and Sept. 4.

Petit Larceny: Three suspects walked out of the CVS Pharmacy on 1310 Boston Post Rd without paying for six Enfamil Baby Formulas worth about $98. An employee reported the theft, and police arrested 22-year-old Tina Grant, of Bronx Boulevard, and 21-year-old Jennara L. Marrow, of Mount Vernon, outside of the store. The third suspect, who remains unknown, escaped.  

Identity Theft: A Mamaroneck resident reported someone attempted to open multiple credit cards in their name. The Orchard Road victim was notified by a credit alert system that womeon had checked their credit.

Grand Larceny: A Mamaroneck resident reported their black mountain bike, worth $1,835, and combination lock, worth $1, were stolen from their Hillside Road home. The bike was inside their basement with the door open.
