Plenty To Do in Mamaroneck, Resident Says

Karl Rusch is gearing up for an exciting summer. There are no big trips planned, he’s  just looking forward to enjoying everything he can find to do near his Mamaroneck home.

Memorial Day is right around the corner, meaning we finally get to welcome summer! While some families are planning exotic trips to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life, most for most the economy dictates that a big trip is more fantasy than reality.

Rusch will spend most of his summer working and is not put off because he knows he will have plenty of summer activities right here in Mamaroneck.

“There are BBQs all around.” Rusch said. Living in a town that’s right on the water, especially over the summer, definitely has its perks. While he couldn’t think of one specific thing he loved most about the Mamaroneck summer he was looking forward to the Fireman’s parade in mid-June.

“It’s just a great location. The people are really friendly and the neighborhoods are really safe.” Rusch said.

Throughout the summer you can count on various exciting outdoor events in Mamaroneck or you can make your own excitement at one of the many parks such as Manor Park.

“You can go boating or fishing in Manor Park.” Rusch said of just a few of the activities available. “You can walk along the water, or take your bike out for a ride and you still feel safe.”
