MAMARONECK, N.Y. A Jamaica, Queens, man was charged with petty larceny on Tuesday, March 27, after he was arrested at the CVS store at 2444 Boston Post Road. Security stopped him as he tried to leave the store without paying for a box of Prilosec OTC, worth $27.79, and a Crest White Strip, worth $52,99, both of which he was carrying in a bag, police said. He was charged with a Class A misdemeanor and is due in court Monday, April 2.
The following incidents were also reported to the Town of Mamaroneck police.
Criminal Mischief: A town woman, 46, reported Saturday, March 24, that she found several scratch marks on her 2010 Honda Accord, which she believes were made between 8:30 p.m. March 23 and 11 a.m. March 24.
Aggravated Harassment: A North Chatsworth Avenue woman, 55, reported Sunday, March 25, that she received several harassing phone calls from an unknown person between 5:40 a.m. and 6:16 a.m.
Petty Larceny: A Croton resident visiting family in the Town of Mamaroneck reported March 17 that his GPS unit, worth $180, and $100 in cash were stolen from his blue Honda while parked on Vine Road.
