State police have released detailed information on the early Saturday morning motor vehicle crash that resulted in the death of a 19-year-old Westchester resident who was a member of the SUNY Cobleskill men's soccer team.
Douglas Alvarez of Mamaroneck died as a result of injuries in the Interstate 88 crash, which occurred around 4 a.m. in the town of Maryland near Exit 18 in Otsego County, about 25 miles west of SUNY Cobleskill.
