Rear Car Window Shattered in Private Larchmont Lot

LARCHMONT, N.Y. -- A Larchmont resident reported on March 8 that the rear window of his car, parked overnight in a private lot on Palmer Avenue, was shattered and $900 worth of property was missing. 

The following incidents were also reported to the Larchmont Police Department between March 3 and March 10.

Larceny: A New Rochelle resident reported on March 9 that someone entered his vehicle, which was left unlocked at a Palmer Avenue gas station, and stole an unknown amount of property.

Larceny: A Larchmont resident reported on March 3 that someone made $1,700-worth of withdrawals from their account.

Vehicle and Traffic Law Arrest: A White Plains man was arrested on March 7 and charged with operating with a suspended license after police saw him commit a traffic infraction on Chatsworth Avenue. The car was impounded and the driver was released on his own recognizance.

Larchmont Police also responded to 14 burglar alarms, four motor vehicle accidents, six aided cases and 36 other calls for service.
