  • Rye Neck High School was ranked 35th in the state and 222nd nationally in the 2013 U.S. News & World Report's Best High Schools rankings, released this past week.
  • New Rochelle Mayor Noam Bramson edged out Westchester County Board of Legislators Chairman Ken Jenkins to receive the nomination for County Executive from the Westchster County Democratic Committee late Wednesday night.
  • Mamaroneck Village told its residents who have geese nesting and laying eggs on their property to notify them for when the U.S. Department of Agriculture returns to do egg oiling . Egg oiling is a non-lethal method that prevents eggs from hatching. Interested residents may fill out and submit the attached form to the USDA.
