MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- Just hours before Hurricane Irene is projected to reach Westchester County, The Daily Mamaroneck wants to keep our readers up-to-date on potential impacts to the area such as flooding, fallen branches and road closures in the area. In order to achieve this, we are asking for your help.
As the storm passes through our area this weekend, we are asking residents to send in photographs and describe what they are seeing. If you live in a low-lying or coastal area and plan to go to the evacuation center at the Mamaroneck High School, show us what you see.
Feel free to send photos and information to The Daily Mamaroneck's local reporter, Brian Donnelly, at firstname.lastname@example.org, or post them to our Facebook page .
Thank you for your help and stay safe.
