A Winter Storm Warning took effect at 6 a.m. Saturday and will last until Sunday at 6 a.m.
Snow totals such vary significantly, with central and southern Westchester seeing between 2 and 5 inches and Northern Westchester between 5 and 9 inches.
Travel conditions will be especially treacherous at night, especially in Northern Westchester, where there will be icy conditions.
After daytime high temperatures of only around 30 on Saturday, temps will graduate rise overnight, with some rain possible prior to the 9 a.m.
Sunday will be partly sunny with a high around 40. Temperatures will drop Monday to a high near the freezing mark under mostly sunny skies.
