MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- Thank you for stopping by during The Daily Mamaroneck's office hours.

Thursday. We met at the Mamaroneck Library, where a ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held Sept. 17 commemorating its reopening. The renovated library has been open since June 30, but still had odds and ends to finalize, such as tagging books that had been in storage during the renovation with RFID tags.

The ribbon-cutting, featuring Broadway starlet Carly Rose Soneclar and Mamaroneck High School's jazz group "The Force", will be held in front of the library on Prospect Avenue at 10 a.m.
