Three-Car Crash Sends Mamaroneck Man to Hospital

MAMARONECK, N.Y. — Three people were injured and one was taken to the hospital in a three-car crash March 3 near Saxon Woods Park on the 1600 block of Mamaroneck Avenue.

The accident happened just before 5 p.m. and involved two 1992 Hondas and a 1988 Mercedez Benz.

The Village of Mamaroneck police and fire departments responded to the accident, which blocked both southbound lanes between Saxon Woods Park and the Interstate-95 entrance.

A village man, 22, suffered a head laceration and was taken to the hospital.

A Bronxville man, 56, sustained cuts to the head and face, and a village man, 52, had a cut to the hand; both refused medical attention at the scene.
