Three Parked Cars' Windows Shattered in Larchmont

LARCHMONT, N.Y. -- An unknown suspect used a fire extinguisher to spray three vehicles parked in a Palmer Avenue parking lot and shattered their windows during the overnight hours of Sept. 30.

The following items were also reported in the Larchmont Police Blotter from Sept. 24 to Oct. 1.

Larceny: A Pryer Lane resident reported Sept. 26 that he had lost his wallet and was subsequently contacted by his bank and alerted of the fact that an attempt was made to use one of his credit cards.

Identity Theft: An Elm Avenue resident reported Sept. 26 that he discovered several credit card accounts had been opened in his name, and charges totaling $30,000 had been posted.

Larceny: A Walnut Avenue resident reported on Sept. 30 that his bicycle, valued at $500, was removed from the bicycle rack in Lot 3 above the I-95 overpass.

Larchmont Police Officers also responded to 10 burglar alarms, six motor vehicle accidents, nine aided cases and 48 other calls for service.
