Two Cars Broken Into at Larchmont Train Station Lot

LARCHMONT, N.Y. – Two cars parked in Lot 3 above the Larchmont train station Feb. 16 were reportedly broken into and property was removed, according to the Larchmont Police Department.

A Town of Mamaroneck resident reported Feb. 16 that she returned to her car to find the front passenger window shattered and $200-worth of property missing. The same day, a Larchmont resident reported that her front passenger window had also been shattered and $150-worth of property was missing from her car.

The following incidents were also reported in the Larchmont Police Department blotter:

- Vehicle and Traffic Law Arrest : A Rye man was arrested Feb. 15 and charged with operating a vehicle with a suspended license after police pulled him over on Beach Avenue for committing a traffic infraction. The vehicle was impounded and the operator released on his own recognizance.

- Vehicle and Traffic Law Arrest : A Harrison man was arrested Feb. 16 and charged with operating with a suspended license after police pulled him over on Chatsworth Avenue for committing a traffic infraction. The vehicle was impounded and the operator released on his own recognizance.
