Vehicle Stolen, Another Recovered in Mamaroneck

MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- A village resident reported their 2012 Yamaha Motorcycle stolen March 4. The Fenimore resident reported it was parked and unoccupied on the street when it went missing sometime between 6 p.m. March 3 and 3 a.m. March 4.Earlier that week, Village of Mamaroneck Police recovered a reported stolen vehicle, a 2000 Chevrolet, shortly after it was reported stolen. There was no damage to the vehicle.The following incidents also were reported to the Village of Mamaroneck Police Department between March 4-8.

Larceny: Two village residents reported all four tires and rims were taken off both of their vehicles while parked and unoccupied in an Orienta Gardens lot March 5 sometime between 5:15 a.m. and 7:08 a.m. Each resident reported the value of the stolen car parts were approximately $2,500. Burglary: A village resident reported March 5 that an unknown suspect broke into their Old White Plains home at 5:13 p.m. and took approximately $2,600. The case is being investigated.Larceny: An unknown suspect reportedly stole an iPhone and a wallet containing $60 cash and a New York driver's license March 6 from a West Boston Post Road locker room. Criminal Mischief: A village resident reported March 6 the passenger window of her 2005 Mercedez Benz was damaged and her GPS unit, worth $200, was removed.Larceny: A Florence Street resident reported March 7 that an unknown suspect used their debit card number to make $1,600 worth of purchases.
