Village of Mamaroneck Police Blotter: June 8 - 16

Two Mamaroneck residents were charged with illegal possesion of marijuana Sunday.  On June 12, police responded to a noise complaint on Madison Street where one 18-year-old malei in possession of marijuana was arrested.  Two days later  a 19-year-old male, also from the Village of Mamaroneck, was spotted with marijuana and arrested. Also in the blotter: -A Soundview Drive resident reported someone took jewelry and a handbag containing credit cards, a cell phone and personal papers from her home June 8. -Donald Howe, a 58-year-old male from the Village of Mamaroneck, was charged with DWI after committing a traffic infraction in Mamaroneck June 8. -A Cell phone, valued at about $300, was taken from a counter on June 9 at a Mamaroneck Avenue. -A 16-year-old male from Greenwich and a 15 year old male from Rye were removed from the wateroff the coast of Rye by a Marine unit June 9. The 15-year-old was taken to the hospital with difficulty breathing. -Alan Borst, a 53-year-old from the Village of Mamaroneck, was charged with DWI after committing a moving violation on Mamaroneck Avenue. -A computer tablet was taken from a Forest Avenue home without permission June 14. -A handbag was taken from a vehicle while parked and unoccupied on Mamaroneck Avenue June 14. - A 28-year-old homeless man, Darius Thomas, was arrested and charged with two counts of Grand Larceny in the fourth degree. -A vehicle struck another car while parked and unoccupied on Florence Street June 14, causing damage to the front bumper on the driver’s side.
