Mamaroneck Residents Have Until March To Re-Register For STAR

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Westchester homeowners who miss the deadline Dec. 31 deadline to re-register for the basic STAR property-tax exemption will have until early March when local assessors will remove exemptions from unregistered properties, according to the Ithaca Journal.

The state Tax Department will issue a third and final mailing to any remaining basic STAR exempt homeowners who failed to re-register by the Dec. 31 deadline, the Ithaca Journal reported.
