MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- There are plenty of opportunities for residents to get involved in their local government this week.
The Village Board of Trustees will meet at 7:30 p.m. in the Courtroom to continue its discussion on the removal of the portion of Glendale Road that extends into the Mamaroneck River, also known as the road to nowhere. It will also receive an audit report giving the financial status of the village. The Library Board of Trustees will talk about their budget, which saw an increase due to the three-year, $15.5 million library renovation, and will come to a vote in December.
The Town Board will hold a special meeting at noon in Conference Room A to discuss the tentative 2012 budget.
The Village Flood Mitigation Advisory Committee will meet at 7:30 p.m. in the Regatta Conference Room.

The town Board has awarded the Property Reassessment Project to GAR Associates, which will be holding educational workshops at the Larchmont Library and Town Center over the coming weeks. Thursday, it will hold its first from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at one of the two locations. To attend, reservations are required. Call 866‐910‐1776 or you can register on‐line. Another workshop will be held Dec. 3 from 10 a.m. to noon. Should these workshops be fully subscribed, additional workshops will be added.
