What's on the Agenda in Mamaroneck?

MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- Residents will have plenty of opportunities to get involved in their local government this week.

Monday

The Village of Mamaroneck Avenue Task Force Committee will meet at 12:30 p.m. in the Regatta. 

The Village Budget Committee will meet at 7 p.m. in the Regatta Conference Room.

The Village Board of Trustees will meet at 7:30 p.m. in the Courtroom for its regular meeting. Since the board has determined the Comprehensive Plan Update will not have a significant adverse environmental impact, it will move forward by referring it the Harbor and Coastal Zone Management Commission (HCZMC) to ensure its consistency with the Village’s Local Waterfront Revitalization Program. HCZMC will announce its findings at the Jan. 18 Board of Trustees meeting. The board will also appoint Gloria Poccia Pritts as the new village historian and Mary Louise Cox as poet laureate. The Town Board of Architectural Review meeting scheduled for 8 p.m. is cancelled.

Tuesday

The Village Committee for the Environment will meet at 8 p.m. in the Courtroom. 

The Mamaroneck Schools Board of Education will meet at 7:30 p.m. in the Mamaroneck High School's Tiered Classroom. The board will discuss the capital plan update, as well as present student athlete honors.

Wednesday

The Village Harbor and Coastal Zone Management Commission will meet at 7:30 p.m. in the Regatta. 

Thursday

The Village Flood Mitigation Advisory Committee will meet at 7 p.m. in the Regatta.
