Monday

Purim Goodies with Amalia Hoffman: 4 p.m. Author and illustrator Amalia Hoffman will act out her story, dressed in costume, at the Larchmont Library. She will teach kids, ages 4 to 7, how to make yummy hamantaschen. Register in person or by calling (914) 834–2281.

Larchmont Board of Trustees Work Session: 6:30 p.m. The board will consider the Larchmont Reservoir Conservancy Caretakers Agreement. Village Hall, 120 Larchmont Ave.

Green Screen Film Festival Presents No Impact Man: 7:30 p.m. A free screening of the film will be shown at the Mamaroneck Town Center, Conference Room C. The director and cinematographer Justin Schein will speak after the film.

Larchmont Planning Board Meeting: 8 p.m. The board will consider two applications. One is to make improvements, including widening and landscaping, to the driveway at 15-17 Monroe Ave. Village Hall, 120 Larchmont Ave. The second is to amend the application, previously approved, for construction of two affordable housing buildings on 2101 and 2103 Palmer Ave.

Tuesday

Larchmont Traffic Commission Meeting. 6 p.m. The commission will discuss the village's proposed traffic code revisions. Village Hall, 120 Larchmont Ave.

Wednesday

Mamaroneck Town Board Meeting: 8 p.m. The board will meet at 5 p.m. for a work session. During its regular meeting, it will hold a public hearing to consider a resolution to match its taxable status date with that of the Town of Rye. This would allow the Village of Mamaroneck to discontinue being an assessing unit if it chooses to do so and to give the town’s assessor more time to determine the taxable status of properties within the Town. Mamaroneck Town Center, 740 W Boston Post Road.

Larchmont Zoning Board of Appeals. 8:15 p.m. The board will consider one application seeking a variance to construct a new open porch and roof over the front door on 15 Hall Ave.

Thursday

League of Women Voters Candidate Forum: 7:30 p.m. Candidates for the Larchmont Board of Trustees will gather to introduce themselves to the community. Each will make a brief statement, then answer prepared questions from the League as well as questions from the audience. Larchmont Village Hall, 120 Larchmont Ave.

The Semi-Royal Shakespeare Company Presents Richard III: 7:30 p.m. The company of Mamaroneck High School students will perform in the Hommocks Middle School Auditorium. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and can be purchased in advance or at the door, subject to availability.
