Mamaroneck Avenue Task Force Committee Meeting: 12:30 p.m. This committee meets the third Monday of each month in the Regatta at 123 Mamaroneck Ave.
Village Board of Trustees Work Session: 5:30 p.m. The board holds its regular meetings the second and fourth Monday of the month and work sessions the first and third Monday of the month in the Village Courtroom on 169 Mount Pleasant Ave.
Town Housing Authority Meeting: 7 p.m. This board provide affordable housing within the town, including Hommocks Park Apartments. Mamaroneck Town Center, Conference Room A, 740 W Boston Post Road.
Village Budget Committee Meeting: 7:30 p.m. This committee meets the third Monday of each month in the Village Courtroom.
Town Board of Architectural Review Meeting: 8 p.m. The board will discuss a proposed facade site improvement and sign for Trader Joe's on 1262 W Boston Post Road.
Computer Classes: 10-11 a.m. The Mamaroneck Library offers free computer classes for beginners, who will learn how to use a mouse and learn other basic computer skills. Each class consists of two sessions - Tuesday and Thursdays at 10 a.m. - over the course of a week and participants must attend both sessions. Registration is required. Call 698-1250 ext. 3.
Symphony and Chamber Orchestra Concert: 7:30 p.m. The MHS Symphony and Chamber Orchestra will perform in the McLain Auditorium.
Mamaroneck School Board Meeting: 7:30 p.m. The Board of Education and administration will present the proposed 2012-2013 school budget to the public. The budget vote is May 15, at which time the public will also vote on a bond referendum for the approximately $9.5 million capital project.
Village Committee for the Environment Meeting: 8 p.m. This committee meets the third Tuesday of the month in the Village Courtroom.
Hommocks Pops Concert: 7:30 p.m. The concert will be held in the Hommocks Auditorium March 21 at 7:30 p.m.
Village Harbor and Coastal Zone Management Commission: 7:30 p.m. This committee meets the third Wednesday of the month in the Village Courtroom.
Town Board Meeting: 8 p.m. After convening at 5 p.m. for its work session in Conference Room C, the board will meet in the Town Courtroom, where it will hold a public hearing to consider a local law. The law sets the town's taxable status date for May 1 to make it easier to meet the annual deadline for publishing the Tentative Assessment Roll, among other things. The board will also consider whether to change the town’s date for valuation so it coincides with the date used by the New York State Office of Real Property Tax Services.
Vocal and Band Ensemble Concert: 7:30 p.m. The MHS choir and band will perform in the McLain Auditorium.
Science and Technology Fair Viewing/Awards Ceremony: 6 p.m. The Rye Neck Middle School will hold a viewing and awards ceremony for the Science and Technology Fair in the Dining Hall on 310 Hornidge Road.
