MAMARONECK, NY - Here's a look at events happening around Mamaroneck and Larchmont this week, including government meetings and community happenings. See our events listings for more.

Monday, June 18

Mamaroneck Avenue Task Force Committee meeting: 12:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Regatta Conference Room located at 169 Mt. Pleasant Ave.

Village of Mamaroneck Budget Committee meeting: 7:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in the courtroom at 169 Mt. Pleasant Ave.  

Town of Mamaroneck Architectural Review: 8 p.m. The meeting will be held at 740 W. Boston Post Road in conference room C.

Celebrate our Flag in Needlepoint (all week): 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Stitch by Stitch owners Betty Scanlon and Madalena Bruno present their "Patchwork of Peace" at the Larchmont Library. The piece is 247 one-inch squares and completes the needlepoint flag project on display in the Oresman Gallery. Larchmont Public Library, 121 Larchmont Ave., Larchmont.

The Beauty of Larchmont (all week): 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. An award-winning photographer, with more than 35 years of experience, will display some his photos at the library. John Lewison’s works include people and landscape images in both color and black & white. Larchmont Public Library, 121 Larchmont Ave., Larchmont.

Tuesday, June 19

Village of Mamaroneck Committee for the Enviornment: 7 p.m. The meeting will be held in the courtroom at 169 Mt. Pleasant Ave.

Town of Mamaroneck Board of Trustee Meeting: 8 p.m. This meeting will be held at 740 W. Boston Post Road.

Wednesday, June 20

Village of Mamaroneck Harbor Coastal Zone Management Committee: 7:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in the courtroom at 169 Mt. Pleasant Ave.

Thursday, June 21

Mamaroneck Shares Block Party: The first of four summer block parties to be held in Mamaroneck Village to raise money for local charities. The block party will be held on Mamaroneck Avenue.
