LARCHMONT, N.Y. -- Residents will have a few opportunities to get involved in their local government this week.
The Board of Trustees will meet at 7 p.m. in the Courtroom, where it will consider the proposal for the construction phase of the Streetscaping project, which Mayor Josh Mandell plans to begin and complete in 2012. The board will also consider election inspectors for the 2012 village elections. Trustee Jaine Elkin Eney plans to resign from her post to join the Town of Mamaroneck's Town Council. She is scheduled to be sworn in at the Jan. 18 meeting.
The Planning Board will meet at 8 p.m. in Village Hall.
The Zoning Board of Appeals will meet at 8:15 p.m. in Village Hall to consider an application by B&Z Auto Enterprises LLC for a special permit to allow a car sales operation at 2020 Boston Post Rd.
The town Planning Board will meet at 8 p.m. in the Town Center's Conference Room C.
The Parks and Trees Committee will meet at 9:30 a.m. in Village Hall to consider the 2012-2013 budget proposal.
