What's on the Agenda in Larchmont?

LARCHMONT, N.Y. -- Residents will have a few opportunities to get involved in their local government this week.

Monday

The Village Board of Trustees will hold a work session at 6:30 in the Village Hall Conference Room to discuss the upcoming budget.

Wednesday

The town board will hold a work session at 5 p.m. in Conference Room A, then reassemble for its regular meeting at 8 p.m. in the Town Center Courtroom. The board will hold two public hearings to discuss bonding capital projects for the Garbage District No. 1 - a $190,000 bond to buy a new refuse collection vehicle - and the Sewer District No. 1 - a $65,000 bond to replace the 23-year-old pumps at the Baldwin Avenue Pump Station and provide a general upgrade.
