MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- Residents will have plenty of opportunites to get involved with their local government this week at the following meetings.
The village Board of Trustees will hold a work session at 5:30 p.m. in the Regatta Conference Room. The board will continue its discussion on setting a cost-effective policy on communications with the public by consultants hired by the village. The board will hear the Traffic Committee's recommendations for additional traffic signs, including a speed limit sign on Halstead Avenue and a No Parking sign on Boston Post Road. They will also discuss the status of Cove Road, a private road which the neighborhood association closed to thru traffic beginning Monday. For a full list of agenda items click here .
The village Budget Committee will meet at 7:30 in the Courtroom.
The town Board of Architectural Review will meet at 8 p.m. in Conference Room C.
The village Committee for the Environment will meet at 8 p.m. in the Courtroom.
The village Harbor and Coastal Zone Managment Commission will meet 7:30 p.m. in the Courtroom.
The Town Board will meet at 8 p.m. in the Courtroom, where they will submit a tentative budget for 2012. They will also authorize a community trust fund emergency response team, in addition to salaries for the Recreation and Highway Departments. For the full agenda click here .
