What's on The Agenda in Mamaroneck?

MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- Mamaroneck residents will have several opportunities to get involved in their local government this week.

Monday

The Village Board of Trustees will meet at 7:30 p.m. in the Courtroom, where it will discuss whether to restart the bidding process on the Road to Nowhere project, which was rejected at its last work session Nov. 7. The board will also look to establish a three-to-five person Ad Hoc Information Technology (IT) Committee on the recommendation of the Budget Committee. The new committee would look for opportunities to reduce costs and improve the delivery of services through improved technology. For the full the agenda click here.

Tuesday

The Mamaroneck School Board will meet at 7:30 p.m. in the Tiered Classroom at Mamaroneck High School.

The village Committee for The Environment will meet at 8 p.m. in the Courtroom.

Wednesday

The village Planning Board will meet at 7 p.m. in the Courtroom. For the full agenda click here.

The village Harbor and Coastal Zone Management Commission will meet at 7:30 p.m. in the Regatta Conference Room, where it will review the HCZM manual, as well as hear a report from Peter Jackson on the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program's Update Committee.

Thursday

The town Board will hold a work session at 5 p.m. in Conference Room A. For the full agenda click here. The board will then hold a 2012 Budget work session at 6 p.m. in Conference Room A.

The village Board of Architectural Review will meet at 7:30 p.m. in the Courtroom.

The town Board will hold its regular meeting at 8 p.m. in the Courtroom, where it will authorize a transfer of funds to the Tree Trust Fund. It will also set a public hearing on the Tax Cap Legislation and give an update on the Property Reassessment Project. For the full agenda, click here.
