A 25-year-old White Plains man was arraigned and charged with attempting to lure a child to engage in sexual activity, Westchester County District Attorney Anthony A. Scarpino, Jr. announced.

Rivu Dey, a chemical engineer, is charged with one count of attempted criminal sexual act in the second degree, a Class E felony.

His bail/bond was set at $15,000. Hs next court date is Jan. 5, 2018.
