White Plains Hospital Provides Medical Aid At KPMG Women's PGA Championship

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- White Plains Hospital was the official provider of onsite medical services at the 2015 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship at the Westchester Country Club in Harrison.

White Plains Hospital had physicians, physician assistants, and nurses on staff at the Westchester Country Club throughout the Championship, which took place June 9 - 14. The hospital also worked in partnership with Harrison EMS and its Chief Operating Officer Joseph Bilotto to provide emergency medical services.

According to Dr. Erik Larsen, associate director of the Emergency Department at White Plains Hospital, “White Plains Hospital personnel were at the ready to provide assistance for anyone experiencing issues such as heat stroke, exhaustion, bruises, or cuts and scrapes.” Larsen chaired the committee that organized medical personnel for the event.

On the course, current world number one in LPGA rankings, Inbee Park, took home her 3rd consecutive Women's PGA Championship.
