MAMARONECK, N.Y. – Anna Merolle Sullivan of Mamaroneck died Jan. 7. She was 79.
She was born Jan. 6, 1934, in Mount Pleasant to Umberto and Francesca Fraioli Merolle. She worked as a secretary at the Board of Cooperative Educational Services in Valhalla before retiring in 2006.
Sullivan is survived four daughters, Jennifer (Rodney) Recker, Tara (Peter) Hamme, Melissa (Rick) Holroyd and Francesca (Michael) Vitti; a sister, Sylvana Trifiletti; and nine grandchildren. She was predeceased her husband, Turner Sullivan; two brothers, Mario Merolle and Louis Merolle; and a sister, Celeste Merolle.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home in Mamaroneck. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. Vito’s Church in Mamaroneck. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Port Chester.
