Annita Imogene Applegarth Young, 87, Of Mamaroneck

MAMARONECK, N.Y. - Annita Imogene Applegarth Young, of Mamaroneck died Nov. 9. She was 87.

Young was born May 21, 1927, in Cambridge, Md., to Harold Gregory and Edith Imogene Applegarth. She went to Mount Saint Agnes in Baltimore, and then to the University of Notre Dame of Maryland. She lived in Baltimore, Virginia, Illinois, the Eastern Shore of Maryland and New York.

Young is survived by her children, Christopher Young (Catherine), Frederick Young (Karen) and Stephanie Young; eight grandchildren; brother, Charles Applegarth (Marie); and nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her brother, Harold Pierre Applegarth.

Calling hours are Saturday, Nov. 15 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 767 E. Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck. 914-698-5968. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15 at St. Pius x RC Church in Scarsdale. She will be committed at St Mary's Star of the Sea RC Church in Golden Hill, Md.
